Licenses and permits purchased on this site are issued in the form of a printable license image. Customers will not receive a paper license or permit in the mail. An authorization number will also be issued for customers without access to a printer and will serve in lieu of a printed license. Any customer using an authorization number must carry a photo ID while performing the act authorized by the license or permit. You will need a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card to make a purchase.

Jr. Hunting - Available to residents and nonresidents who have not yet reached their 16th birthday. Valid for the entire year in which issued, even if the license holder turns 16 during that year. Parent or guardian must sign the license at the time of purchase.  .  Children under the age of 12 are license exempt (effective with the 2008 license season)
Waterfowl Permit - Required to hunt ducks, coots, mergansers, and geese. Also covers migratory game birds. Required of hunters over age 16. NOTE: Waterfowl hunters must also possess a federal duck stamp, available at Post Offices. May be used in conjunction with a one or five-day nonresident or a one day resident hunting license.

Annual licenses and permits are valid from the date of purchase through the last day in February. New licenses are required annually March 1. (A 1- or 5-day hunting license is valid only for the period shown on the license.)
